TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The No. 25/24 Alabama women's basketball fell to No. 3/3 South Carolina, 76-57, Thursday night inside Coleman Coliseum.

Ta'Mia Scott scored a team-high 14 points to mark her third-straight double figure game, while Essence Cody paced Alabama with five boards.

Head Coach Kristy Curry Comments
"We cut it to 57-50 heading into the fourth and just weren't able to muster it up right there to get some stops. Right after that, we came down and missed a couple of open looks. I just want to give credit to South Carolina. They are who they are for a reason. I thought they did a nice job there when we cut into it a little bit going into the fourth [quarter]."
