William Jennings and Jack Mitchell lead the Crimson Tide at 1-under par heading into the final round of action

PANAMA CITY, Fla. - The No. 11 Alabama men's golf team improved a spot on Tuesday and moved into ninth place after two rounds of play at the Watersound Invitational. The Crimson Tide improved by seven strokes from round one to round two and currently have a 36-hole total of 3-over par 563 (285-278).

William Jennings and Jack Mitchell lead UA with matching scores of 1-under par 139 to lead the Crimson Tide.

Round Two Highlights

Jack Mitchell caught fire in round two, leading the Crimson Tide with a 4-under par 66, which included five birdies and a bogey
With that, Mitchell made the second-biggest move up the leaderboard, improved 34 spots into a 23^rd-place overall at 1-under par 139 (73-66)
William Jennings, who entered the tournament ranked No. 9 in the nation, shot is second consecutive round of par or better with a 1-under par 69 following his opening round of 70 on Monday
Jennings leads UA and is ranked in a tie for seventh with nine birdies through 36 holes
Brycen Jones, ranked No. 64 among the nation's top collegiate golfers, is in a tie for 41^st with a two-round total of 2-over par 142 (69-72)
Jonathan Griz is at 3-over par 143 (73-70) after carding an even par 70 on Tuesday
Luke Powell rounds out Alabama's starting lineup in a tie for 71^st position at 9-over 149 (74-75)
Connor Brown, who is competing as an individual, carded the low round of the day with a 2-under par 68
Michael Crocker and Tristin Wisener are also competing as individuals
Crocker is in a tie for 41^st place with a 2-over par 142 (68-74), while Wisener is in 51^st at 4-over par 144 (72-72)
