Alabama Concludes Play at Blue Gray National Tennis Classic

The Crimson Tide duo of Antonio Voljaven went undefeated in doubles play over the two-day event
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Alabama men's tennis program finished play at the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic to conclude its third tournament of the fall.
The doubles pair of Antonio Voljavec and Yoshka Sborowsky went undefeated over the weekend collecting three wins. Sborowsky and Theo Hegarty each added two victories in singles play.

"Another challenging weekend for the guys. They were tested physically and mentally especially with the shortening of the tournament. We showed a lot of progress from Starkville and have plenty of work to continue to do. I really like how we've improved and confident in the guys' ability to continue this upward trend. A short week ahead as a very tough Regional championship at Auburn is next weekend. A big thank you to the Blue Gray tournament committee, Lagoon Park and its hard-working staff, ITA officials, tournament volunteers, host families, local tennis fans and the city of Montgomery for once again hosting a one-of-a-kind tournament. Nobody does it better and Alabama is proud to be part of a historic tradition in college tennis."
