
Alabama Concludes Opening Day of Tennessee Diving Invitational

The Crimson Tide advanced three divers to the finals on the first day of competition
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Alabama diving team advanced three competitors to the finals on the opening day of the Tennessee Diving Invite.
The day was highlighted by a fifth-place finish on the 1m board from Rin Drudge, who secured a 258.95 in the finals. Additionally, she captured a 273.05 to advance out of the preliminary round in fourth place.
Joining Drudge in the finals on the 1m board, freshman Melina Michaelides posted a 223.85 for 10th place. Nigel Chambers paced the men's side with an 11th-place finish on the 3m board after capturing a 318.95.
