Vit Kalina and Matic Kriznik claimed a three-set victory to advance to the second round of the tournament
TULSA, Okla. – The Alabama doubles team of Vit Kalina and Matic Kriznik secured a victory in the opening round of the ITA All-American Championships on Saturday.
The duo, competing in the Pre-Qualifying Draw, battled through three sets to claim the win over their Weber State opponents, Connor Kruger and Minh Tuan Dinh Viet. The Wildcats took the first set off an 8-6 tiebreaker. Kalina and Kriznik would cruise to a 6-2 victory in the second set to force a third round before claiming the 10-point tiebreaker with a 10-6 decision.
