
Women’s Basketball to Host Clemson in 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge

The Crimson Tide will welcome the Tigers to Coleman Coliseum for the first time in six years
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women's basketball will host Clemson in the 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge, ESPN announced Thursday. The matchup is set for Thursday, Dec. 4, inside Coleman Coliseum.
It will be the eighth meeting between the Crimson Tide and Tigers in series history and first game in Tuscaloosa since the 2018-19 season. Alabama has claimed the last three matchups, including last year's 73-39 victory over Clemson in the Emerald Coast Classic on Nov. 26, 2024.
Television destinations and tipoff times will be announced at a later date.
Up for the Challenge:
- Alabama will host the ACC/SEC Challenge for the first time in Coleman Coliseum after being on the road the last two seasons
- The Tide is 5-2 versus Clemson which includes an undefeated mark under Kristy Curry
- Alabama and Clemson are tied, 2-2, when playing in Tuscaloosa
- UA finished the 2024-25 season with a 24-9 overall record after making its fourth NCAA Tournament appearance in the last five years
- Clemson concluded the year in the second round of the 2025 ACC Women's Basketball Tournament, finishing with a 14-17 record
