Alabama’s Andrii Zimnokh Named to SEC Community Service Team

Zimnokh helped lead the Crimson Tide men’s tennis team in volunteer hours throughout the year
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama's Andrii Zimnokh was named to the Southeastern Conference Community Service Team, the organization announced Thursday.

- Has volunteered with several events throughout the course of the year, including a Habitat for Humanity build in the fall with his teammates
- The men's tennis team spent over three hours building a home for a person in need
- During the month of October, he was a part of the Tide's Halloween Extravaganza
- Halloween Extravaganza is an event that brings the Tuscaloosa community together with the Alabama Athletics Department through fun and games
- Spent time at a retirement community located on campus, Capstone Village, where he shared a meal and stories with residents
- On the court, Zimnokh is ranked 28th nationally in doubles while boasting a 13-5 overall record with partner Damien Nezar and an 8-2 run in conference play
- Leads Alabama in doubles wins with 21 on the year
