The Crimson Tide’s Trevor Gunzell (men’s shot put) and Samuel Ogazi (men’s 400m) both broke Hutsell-Rosen Track facility records en route to their respective event titles

AUBURN, Ala. – Two Alabama track and field student-athletes broke facility records at the Hutsell-Rosen Track, Saturday, during the Tiger Track Classic. The Crimson Tide's Trevor Gunzell launched a 62.94-meter throw (206-6) in men's discus to claim the event title, while Samuel Ogazi clocked 44.98 in his men's 400-meter season debut. Ogazi's event-title-winning time is now the fourth-fastest time in the nation, while Gunzell holds a top-five national mark in discus.

Alabama will conclude its regular season Saturday, May 3, in Baton Rouge, La., at the LSU Invitational.

Ailes recorded the 11^th best mark in the nation this season in women's long jump (6.40m | 21-0), while Ogazi clocked the fourth-fastest time nationally in the men's 400m (44.98)
Alabama racked up 19 top-three placements during the one-day meet, highlighted by a 1-2-3 finish in the men's shot put
Of the seven event titles won by UA, three were in field events (Ailes, long jump; Crawford, shot put; Gunzell, discus) and four were from the track (Diebold, 800m; Harris, 1,500m; Ogazi, 400m; Schelp, steeplechase)
