Alabama’s Petra Sedlackova Earns Second Team All-SEC Honors

The senior collected the recognition for the third time, while playing at the top spot for the Crimson Tide
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama's Petra Sedlackova was named a Second Team All-Southeastern Conference women's tennis honoree, the league announced on Wednesday. Sedlackova picked up the recognition for the third time during her four seasons at The Capstone.

- Three-time Second Team All-SEC honoree (2022, 2024, 2025)
- Led Alabama at the No. 1 spot during her senior season
- Highest-ranked player for the Crimson Tide in singles at 38th nationally
- Posted the second-most singles victories on the team with 15
- In doubles play, Sedlackova earned nine wins alongside five different teammates
- Clinched the Crimson Tide's 4-0 win over Ole Miss after defeating the Rebels' top player, Ludmila Kareisova, in straight sets (6-1, 6-4)
- Advanced to the championship round of her flight at the Debbie Southern Fall Classic after downing Avelina Sayfetdinova of Texas Tech in two sets (6-3, 6-1)
