
Seven Alabama Swimmers Named to All-SEC Team

Emily Jones, Charlotte Rosendale, Jada Scott, Cadence Vincent, Kailyn Winter and Avery Wiseman earned the honor from the women’s team while Charlie Hawke highlighted the Crimson Tide men
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Seven members of the Alabama swimming and diving team earned All-Southeastern Conference honors, the league office announced.
All seven swimmers earned a top three finish at the SEC Championships to secure a spot on the all-conference second team. Avery Wiseman concluded her career as a four-time All-SEC honoree, while Charlie Hawke picked up his third nod. Emily Jones, Kailyn Winter and Cadence Vincent secured their second all-conference recognition as Charlotte Rosendale and Jada Scott earned their first appearance on the postseason list.
For the All-SEC Teams, the First Team consists of the top finisher in each event at the SEC Championships, and the Second Team consists of the second- and third-place finishers in each event. The All-Freshman Teams consist of any redshirt or true freshman who finished either in the top eight or is the highest scoring freshman of each event at the SEC Championships, excluding relay events.
The Honorees
- Cadence Vincent recorded a pair of silver medals at the SEC Championships
- She swam a career-best 21.59 in the 50 freestyle to place second in the event
- Vincent would return as the leadoff swimmer for the 200 freestyle relay as the UA sophomore, Jada Scott, Kailyn Winter and Charlotte Rosendale posted a season-best 1:26.35 for second place
- Avery Wiseman captured her best finish in the 200 breaststroke at the SEC Championships, recording a silver medal with a time of 2:06.28
- Emily Jones secured her first individual medal with a third-place finish and a time of 50.92 in the 100 backstroke
- On the men's side, Charlie Hawke swam a 1:30.62 in the 200 freestyle to earn a bronze medal in the event
- It was his third consecutive year earning All-SEC honors from his performance in the event
