Kennedy Carroll leads the Crimson Tide for the third straight tournament
BELLEAIR, Fla. – The Alabama women's golf team finished in 12th place overall at the SEC Championships, with a team total of 23-over par 863 (286-284-293) at the Pelican Golf Club.
Kennedy Carroll led the Crimson Tide from start to finish, placing 18th overall on the player leaderboard at 1-over par 211 (70-70-71).
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Kennedy Carroll posted her third straight top 20 finish, finishing with her lowest 54-hole score of the season
- Carroll's 38 pars in the tournament ranked ninth throughout the field
- Ryan Flynn's 5-over par 215 (73-71-71) is a season-low score for a tournament, as the junior finished in 37thplace
- Flynn's average score on par 3 holes (2.83, -2), ranked third-best throughout the field
- Julia Sánchez Morales finished in 57th place with a 54-hole score of 11-over par 221 (71-75-75)
- Molly Brown Davidson (82-68-76) and Mattison Frick (72-77-77) rounded out UA's lineup in a tie for 70th place at 16-over par 226
TEAM RESULTS
- South Carolina led wire-to-wire and finished in first place at 16-under par 824 (266-274-284)
- Ole Miss' Caitlyn Macnab took home the individual crown at 9-under par 201 (68-68-65)
