Kennedy Carroll moves into the top 15 on the individual leaderboard
BELLEAIR, Fla. – After 36 holes at the SEC Championships the Alabama women's golf team sits in 11th place overall, with a team total of 10-over par 570 (286-284) at the Pelican Golf Club. The Crimson Tide's Kennedy Carroll moved up five spots on the player leaderboard to 15th place at even-par 140 (70-70).
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Alabama continues to post the lowest average score (2.90, -4) on par 3 holes in the first two rounds
- Kennedy Carroll's 27 pars throughout the first two rounds is tied for the most throughout the field
- Carroll's average score on par 3 holes (2.75, -2), ranks second-best throughout the field
- Ryan Flynn moved up 14 spots on the leaderboard, vaulting to 34th overall at 4-over par 144 (73-71), posting one birdie and is one of five players throughout the field to record an eagle
- Julia Sánchez Morales finished the second round at 6-over par 146 (71-75) moving to 49th place
- Mattison Frick's 36-hole score of 9-over par 149 (72-77) places the junior in 62nd place overall
- Molly Brown Davidson matches her season-low round of 68, moving up 10 spots on the individual leaderboard to 68th overall at 10-over par 150 (82-68)
TEAM RESULTS
- South Carolina remains in first place on the team leaderboard at 20-under par 540 (266-274)
- The Gamecocks' Ella Galitsky took sole possession of first place for the individual lead at 7-under par 133 (65-68)
