Four golfers rank inside the top 25 individuals to lead the Crimson Tide

WEST POINT, Miss. – The No. 15 Alabama men's golf team is in third place after 36 holes played Monday afternoon at the Old Waverly Collegiate. Four UA golfers are inside the top 25 individuals to lead the Crimson Tide to a team score of 13-under par 563 (277-286) on the par 72, 7,088 Old Waverly Golf Club course.

Jonathan Griz (t11^th) tops the Crimson Tide, while Jones Free (17^th) and Nick Gross (t19^th) and Dominic Clemons (t21^st) each rank among the top 25 entering Tuesday's final round of play.

Individual Highlights

Jonathan Griz carded the Crimson Tide's low round of the day with his 5-under 67 in round one
His 36-hole score of 4-under par 140 (67-73) is eight shots back of Ole Miss' Tom Fischer (-12)
Jones Free was the only UA golfer to shoot below par in each round, finishing the day at 3-under 141 (70-71)
Nick Gross is a shot back at 2-under par 142 (69-73), while Dominic Clemons is also under par at 1-under 143 (71-72)
Connor Brown rounds out the Alabama starting five in a tie for 31^st at 2-over 146 (76-70)
Brown had the biggest improvement from round one to round two, while his second round 70 led all UA golfers
William Jennings, who is competing as an individual, carded a pair of 1-over par 73s and is tied with Brown for 31^st at 2-over 146

Team Highlights

No. 3 Ole Miss (-40) shot a 36-hole team record to take command of the tournament heading into Tuesday's final round
No. 32 Mississippi State (-15) is two strokes ahead of No. 15 Alabama (-13)
Troy (-13) is in fourth followed by Memphis (-4) and Cincinnati (-4) who are tied for fifth
