Alabama Battles No. 4 Oklahoma in 4-2 Loss

The Crimson Tide secured the doubles point in the losing effort
NORMAN, Okla. – The Alabama women's tennis team (13-13, 4-11 SEC) fell 4-2 to No. 4 Oklahoma (18-5, 11-4 SEC) Sunday afternoon inside the Headington Family Tennis Center.
The Crimson Tide conclude the regular season and will set its sights on the Southeastern Conference Women's Tennis Tournament, beginning Wednesday, April 16, in Auburn, Ala.

- Alabama captured a 1-0 lead after securing the doubles point with wins on courts three and one, respectfully
- Margaux Maquet claimed the Tide's second point on court six after defeating Gloriana Nahum in two sets (6-1, 6-4)
- Petra Sedlackova, Maria Andrienko and Maria Martinez Vaquero all forced third sets on their respectful courts
- Andrienko and Martinez Vaquero would go to fall short on courts two and four, respectfully, while Sedlackova stood unfinished on court one at the time Oklahoma clinched the match
