
Women’s Golf Finishes in Sixth Place at the Florida State Match Up

Alabama’s Mattison Frick led UA’s lineup in 17th place, including a Hole-in-One in round two
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Alabama women's golf team finished the Florida State Match Up tied for sixth place, with a team total of 38-over par 902 (299-299-304).
The Crimson's Tide Mattison Frick led the way for the Tide, finishing in 17th place, with a 54-hole score 8-over par 224 (74-73-77). That total included a Hole-in-One in round two of competition. Competing as an individual, Kennedy Carroll posted her second highest finish during her UA career, finishing 10th overall at 5-over par 221 (81-68-72).
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- The Crimson Tide posted the second-lowest average score (4.85, -9) on par 5s for the tournament
- Kennedy Carroll's third round score of even-par 72 was the lowest round from a UA player on Sunday
- Carroll went to earn her second top 10 finish this season
- Mattison Frick led UA's lineup in 17th place at 8-over par 224, marking her third top 20 finish this season
- Molly Brown Davidson finished in 19th at 9-over par 225 (72-75-78), posting her fourth top 20 finish of her freshman season
- Ryan Flynn posted her second highest finish of the season, posting the highest average score (2.83, -2) on par 3 holes throughout the field, finishing tied for 26th at 11-over par 227 (75-77-75)
- Harriet Lockley's 15-over par 231 (79-78-74) placed her tied for 34th overall
- Rounding out UA's lineup in 37th overall is Julia Sánchez Morales, carding a 15-over par 231 (7-78-74)
TEAM RESULTS
- Florida State led wire-to-wire and finished in first place on the team leaderboard at 22-under par 842 (286-287-269)
- The Seminoles' Mirabel Ting took home first place on the individual leaderboard at 16-under par 200 (66-67-67)
