Alabama is in fourth overall with Molly Brown Davidson and Mattison Frick leading the way
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Alabama women's golf team sits in fourth place overall, with a team total of 22-over par 598 (299-299) after Saturday's second round of the Florida State Match Up.
The Crimson's Tide duo of Molly Brown Davidson and Mattison Frick sit just outside the top 10 on the player leaderboard, tied for 11th overall at 3-over par 147. Frick provided the highlight of the day, converting a hole-in-one on the 13th hole at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- The Crimson Tide posted the second-lowest average score (4.83, -7) on par 5s after 36 holes
- Mattison Frick (74-73) recorded a trio of birdies along with an ace on the 13th hole
- Frick posted the seventh-lowest average score (3.00) on par 3 holes
- Molly Brown Davidson sits in 11th along with Frick at 3-over par 147 (72-75)
- Davidson's 26 pars throughout the tournament leads the field
- Harriet Lockley climbed up 10 places on the player leaderboard, posting three birdies, ending the day in 30thplace at 8-over par 152 (78-74)
- Ryan Flynn's average score on par 3s (2.88, -1) ranks second best among the field, as the junior sits tied at 30thoverall with Lockley at 8-over par 152 (75-77)
- Rounding out UA's lineup is Julia Sánchez Morales in 47th place at 13-over par 157 (79-78)
- Competing as an individual, Kennedy Carroll moved up 38 spots on the player leaderboard, carding a 4-under par 68, and is in 20th place at 5-over par 149 (81-68)

- The Seminoles' Mirabel Ting is the clubhouse individual leader at 11-under par 133 (66-67)
