Outdoor Season Begins at Bulldog Relays

The Crimson Tide accumulated eight top-five finishes across the first two days of the meet
STARKVILLE, Miss. – Alabama track and field opened its outdoor season in Starkville, Miss., with eight top-five finishes across the first two days of action at the Bulldog Relays.
Further highlighting the early-found success, six of the Tide's top-five results were either first-or-second-place marks, spanning across four different events. Trevor Gunzell (59.25m | 194-5) captured the men's discus event title, while the UA men's 4x800-meter relay squad of Peter Diebold, Kai Crawford, Evan Trapp and Evan Simpson won its event.
Alabama will return to Starkville Saturday for the final day of the Bulldog Relays.
