
Women’s Golf Back in Action at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate

The Crimson Tide will tee off in the three-day event Monday morning
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's golf team will head to Hilton Head Island, S.C., this weekend to compete at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate. The three-day, 54-hole tournament hosted by the University of South Carolina will take place Monday through Wednesday and be contested at the par 71, 6,413-yard Long Cove Club.
THE LINEUP
- Molly Brown Davidson will lead the Crimson Tide's lineup in the event following a t17th finish at the Moon Golf Invitational this past week
- Davidson now leads the squad in overall stroke average (73.44) and average vs. par (+1.44)
- Mattison Frick has placed top-20 twice this season on the player leaderboard
- Julia Sánchez Morales makes her first appearance in the lineup this Spring
- Harriet Lockley joins Davidson and Frick as one of three Crimson Tide golfers to be named to the starting lineup in each event of the fall season
- Rounding out the lineup is Ryan Flynn, making her third appearance in the lineup this season
TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
- The Tide will tee off in the opening round at 8:30 a.m. CT on hole No. 1, paired alongside Georgia and Vanderbilt
- Joining Alabama in the 17-team field is No. 8 Arizona State, No. 2 Arkansas, No. 20 Auburn, No. 28 Baylor, No. 19 Duke, Georgia, No. 22 LSU, No. 14 Mississippi State, No. 10 Northwestern, No. 26 Ohio State, No. 5 South Carolina, No. 7 Texas, No. 25 UCLA, No. 12 Vanderbilt and No. 9 Wake Forest
