138 Alabama Student-Athletes Earn SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll Recognition

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Alabama placed 138 student-athletes on the 2024 Fall Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Thursday.
The 138 student-athletes marked UA's highest number of fall representatives in program history, in addition to pacing the SEC by over 11 honorees.
Alabama saw an impressive 64 student-athletes from its football team named to the academic list. Football All-Americans Tyler Booker, Parker Brailsford, Jihaad Campbell and Malachi Moore highlighted the honorees, alongside William V. Campbell and Pop Warner College Football Award winner Jalen Milroe. College Sports Communicators' (CSC) Academic All-District honorees Olaus Alinen, Milroe, Qua Russaw and Justice Haynes rounded out the group. Â
Twenty-six members of the Alabama soccer team earned the honor, led by United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Americans and All-SEC honorees Gianna Paul and Gessica Skorka. Additionally, Paul, who also earned All-American honors athletically, and Skorka were a part of six players to earn CSC Academic All-District accolades, joining Itala Gemelli, Leah Kunde, Nadia Ramadan and signee for the United Soccer League's Vancouver Rise, Nedya Sawan.
A combined 37 members of the Alabama men's (17) and women's (20) cross country teams received honor roll recognition, led by 2024 NCAA and SEC Cross Country champion, Doris Lemngole. In addition to Lemngole, Kate Dickerman, Leah Kleekamp, Keaton Morrison, Macy Shelp, Jami Reed, Brenda Tuwei and Lilly Walters were honored with each helping the Tide claim its fourth SEC title in the fall.
CSC Academic All-District honorees, Sophie Agee and Francessca Bertucci paced a group of 11 Alabama volleyball players who were recognized by the conference. Â
To earn a place on the honor roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.0 or better grade point average for either the preceding academic year or their career and be a sophomore or better in academic standing. The Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll is based on the 2024 spring, summer and fall terms. Additional names will be added to the Tide's First Year Honor Roll to be announced over the summer.
