JeAnna Cunningham Named to the SEC Community Service Team

The graduate center received the honor after prioritizing her time to giving back to the community
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Graduate center JeAnna Cunningham was named to the Southeastern Conference Community Service Team, the conference announced Wednesday.
This marks the 27th year for the SEC Community Service Team for women's basketball. All league-sponsored sports have had a Community Service Team since 2004, with at-large teams for men's and women's sports being chosen from 1999-2003.
JeAnna Cunningham Community Service Notes
- Member of the Alabama Athletics Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
- Frequently visited the Boy & Girls Club and the West Alabama Food Bank to give back to the young adults and families of Tuscaloosa and surrounding areas
- Spent time at the Capstone Village - a local residential community for residents 55-years or older located right on the University's campus - interacting with the residents
- Volunteered with the Temporary Emergency Services of West Alabama which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families in crisis situations
- Before Alabama's Power of Pink game on Feb. 23, Cunningham was one of the program's representatives who spent a morning touring the DCH Cancer Center and talking with patients who were undergoing treatment
