The All-American honor is the second for the senior forward and fifth overall selection for the Crimson Tide by the organization
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –– For the second consecutive year, Alabama's Gianna Paul has been named a United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-American, the organization announced Friday.
Paul's selection follows an impressive senior campaign that included a team-leading 31 points off 12 goals and seven assists. Her performance on the field earned her First Team All-SEC honors and propelled the Tide to its fourth NCAA Tournament Second Round appearance in five years.
Mirroring her selection from a year prior, Paul was named a fourth-team honoree, becoming the first two-time All-American in program history. Her back-to-back honors are listed alongside Reyna Reyes (2022, first team), Riley Mattingly Parker (2022, first team) and Felicia Knox (2022, third team) as USC All-Americans.
Additionally, of the 61 women's soccer players to earn the national honor, Paul is one of just 13 athletes to be named an All-American more than once.
