The Crimson Tide improved to 9-0 on the season following its 24-point victory
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's basketball team propelled past Clemson (5-4), 72-48, in the ACC/SEC Challenge Thursday. The Crimson Tide extended its winning streak to 11 straight home victories and 39 consecutive non-conference wins.
Alabama (9-0) saw two players finish with double-digit points in Essence Cody (21) and Jessica Timmons (19), marking the eighth game this season in double figures for the UA duo. Karly Weathers paced the team in the plus-minus category, finishing plus 23 with nine points, two assists and five rebounds in her 33 minutes of play, while Ta'Mia Scott and Timmons followed with plus 20 through 28 and 31 minutes of action, respectively.

Head Coach Kristy Curry Comments
"I'm proud of our team and with our preparation – it was exceptional. I thought we executed on both sides of the ball. Anytime that you can take care of the basketball, have six turnovers, 15 assists and defensively understand your personnel, it's those things we wanted to do. I'm just really proud of the execution of the game plan and it carried over to the floor tonight for a big win. We were proud to represent the SEC, and I want to end by saying how much I appreciate our crowd and our students that came out that came out on a cold, rainy night in Tuscaloosa."
