Forty University of Alabama Student-Athletes Set for Winter Commencement

The Crimson Tide's graduating student-athletes features members from the 2023 SEC championship football team as well as All-Americans from gymnastics, track and field and soccer
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - A total of 40 Crimson Tide student-athletes are slated to receive diplomas this weekend during The University of Alabama's winter commencement, which will take place Saturday in Coleman Coliseum. The list includes members from the 2023 Southeastern Conference Championship football team, three All-Americans and student-athletes that won All-SEC honors in football, soccer, gymnastics and track and field.
The Crimson Tide is graduating 28 members from its football team, including 19 from the 2023 SEC champion team. The 2025 Jacobs Blocking Trophy recipient, Kadyn Proctor, highlights the list alongside fellow All-SEC honorees Bray Hubbard, Ty Simpson and Deontae Lawson.
SEC vault champion and seven-time All-American Gabby Gladieux (gymnastics) is one of three All-America honorees to earn their diploma over the weekend, joining track and field's Oussama El Bouchayby and soccer's Gianna Paul. Both El Bouchayby and Paul are two-time All-American selections, as Paul also graduates as the soccer team's all-time leader in goals (40) and points (94).
The 36th-overall pick in the 2025 Major League Baseball draft, Riley Quick will walk across the stage as an All-Region and All-SEC honoree, while men's tennis' Damien Nezar closed his collegiate career with a top 15 national doubles ranking.
