
Women’s Golf Finishes in Sixth Place at the Illini Invitational at Medinah

Alabama’s Natachanok Tunwannarux led the Tide in 11th place
MEDINAH, Ill. – The Alabama women's golf team moved up six spots on the team leaderboard during the final day of the Illini Invitational at Medinah, finishing in a tie for sixth place with a team total of 7-under par 857 (291-286-280). Alabama's Natachanok Tunwannarux (73-72-66) led the Crimson Tide, finishing tied for 11th place at 5-under par 211.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Alabama's team total of 8-under par 280 on Tuesday was tied for the round score in round three along with UCF
- Natachanok Tunwannarux moved up 37 spots on the player leaderboard on the final day of the tournament, posting a 6-under par 66, the lowest round from a UA player this season
- Tunwannarux's 66 in the final round was tied for the lowest individual round of the tournament
- For the second straight tournament, Ryan Flynn finished inside the top-20 on the player leaderboard at 3-under par 213 (73-71-69)
- Mattison Frick carded a 1-under par 215 (71-71-73), finishing the tournament in a tie for 31st overall
- Harriet Lockley finished in a tie for 50th at 4-over par 220 (74-74-72)
- Grace Crawford rounded out the lineup at 7-over par 223 (74-72-77)
TEAM RESULTS
- UCF finished in first place on the team leaderboard at 32-under par 832
- UCF's Mila Jurine also took home the individual title at 12-under par 204
