TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama softball took home a pair of wins in a Friday doubleheader against Copiah-Lincoln, winning 5-1 and 7-0.
#Team30 wraps up its fall slate on Saturday, Oct. 25 with 10 innings against Mercer at 1:30 p.m. CT at Rhoads Stadium.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Salen Hawkins was 3-for-3 in the game one win, scoring a run
- Gerritt Griggs drove in a pair of runs in game one with a two-RBI double
- Lauren Johnson hit a solo home run in game one
- Marlie Giles drove in six of the Crimson Tide's seven runs in game two on a two-run double and a grand slam
- Braya Hodges, Alea Johnson and Jocelyn Briski all saw time in the circle, combining to allow just one unearned run across 14.0 innings with 27 strikeouts
