
Alabama Welcomes Three Transfers to the Women’s Golf Program

Head coach Mic Potter announced the signing of three transfers for the 2024-25 season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama head coach Mic Potter announced the addition of three highly-touted transfers on Friday, as Kennedy Carroll, Ryan Flynn and Julia Sánchez Morales will join the women's golf program for the 2024-25 campaign. The trio joins a signing class that includes incoming freshman Molly Brown Davidson from Springville, Ala.

- Named the 2024 Southland Conference Student-Athlete of the Year at Augusta
- Earned Southland Conference Women's Golf Player of the Year in addition to First Team All-Southland honors this past season
- Led Augusta to its first-ever NCAA National Championship appearance in 2023
- Won back-to-back Southland Conference Championships as a team (2022 and 2023)
- Recorded six top-ten finishes throughout her career
- Took home the individual title in the 2024 Southland Conference championship, winning the tournament by nine strokes
- Tallied a 72.5 stroke average in her final season at Augusta
- Played one season at Charlotte before transferring to Augusta
Ryan Flynn | Truckee, Calif. | Grand Canyon/Truckee HS
- Spent her first two collegiate seasons at Grand Canyon where she developed into one of the top players in the WAC
- Named 2023 WAC Freshman of the Year and was a First Team All-WAC selection
- Posted 17 top-10 finishes throughout her collegiate career
- Placed sixth in her final tournament at GCU in the WAC Championships
- Set a GCU 36-hole program best, scoring 137 for the day to etch her name in the record book with the lowest two-round score at GCU
- Placed fourth at the 2023 NGCA Championship
Julia Sánchez Morales | Sotogrande, Spain | Tulane/Sotogrande International School
- Competed in nine tournaments during her freshman season at Tulane
- Posted three top-30 finishes at Tulane
- Her best finish was 23rd place at the AAC Championship
- Was a member of the Spanish Federation National Team
- Placed in the top-ten 16 times over the 2022-23 season highlighted by a pair of victories
- Shot a career low 62 in the first round of the Gran Prix des Landes in France and finished in second place at 11-under par
