
Alabama Swimming and Diving Named to CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

The women’s team recorded a 3.63 GPA for the spring semester, while the men’s team posted a 3.45 GPA
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's and women's swimming and diving teams were named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team, the organization announced.
The women's team earned the honor after recording a 3.63 grade point average for the spring semester, while the Crimson Tide men received recognition after posting a 3.45 GPA. Alabama saw 17 swimmers and divers record perfect 4.0 GPAs as another 27 student-athletes secured a grade point average above a 3.5.
The honor highlights another impressive year of competition for the Tide. UA tallied its 10th straight top-20 finish at the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships, thanks to 11 All-America honors, while the women's team tallied 10 All-American performances for its 10th consecutive top-25 NCAA finish. Eight swimmers were named to the All-Southeastern Conference Team, including five first-team honorees. Additionally, Jake Marcum was named Alabama's 26th College Sports Communicators Academic All-American, marking the 40th time that the Tide has secured the honor.
