Bama Blitz Returns Tuesday, April 16

The annual day of giving campaign will run from Tuesday, April 16 through Thursday, April 18
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Bama Blitz, The University of Alabama's annual online giving event, returns for a seventh year in 2024 as it begins at noon CT on Tuesday, April 16 and ends at noon CT Thursday, April 18.
Bama Blitz leverages the power of social media and crowdfunding to encourage alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends to give back and pay it forward in honor of their favorite cause, college, or program.
Three hundred donations will unlock a $5,000 challenge gift from Rochelle and Michael Koslin.
"We believe in the power of education to transform lives," said Rochelle and Michael Koslin. "Athletic scholarships create opportunities for deserving student-athletes to compete at the highest level, earn a degree and lay the foundation for a successful future. We are proud to support the Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund during Bama Blitz and hope that alumni, fans, and supporters near and far will join us."
About Bama Blitz
- Donations to Athletics during Bama Blitz will benefit the Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund (CTSF), the annual scholarship fund for Alabama Athletics.
- Alabama Athletics has set a goal of $55,746 – the cost of a full annual scholarship for a student-athlete.
- Donors who contribute $40 or more to CTSF during Bama Blitz will receive a home state decal, so they can show their Bama pride where they reside
