BOSTON – On the opening day of the 2024 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, the Alabama men's and women's track team competed in the weight throw, represented by Ruben Banks and Chandler Hayden.
Banks' 23.05-meter (75-7.50) throw originally resulted in a third-place finish, however after a protest, the junior dropped to fourth in the men's weight throw final standings.
