Tickets on Sale for Rocket City Spring Shootout

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Tickets for the inaugural Rocket City Spring Shootout in Huntsville, Ala., are available now, with ticket prices set at $10. The Alabama soccer team will face Southeastern Conference rival Tennessee in the neutral site match scheduled for March 23 in Huntsville, Ala.

"We are delighted to be a part of the inaugural 'Rocket City Spring Shootout'!" Alabama head coach Wes Hart said. "I cannot think of a better way to kick off what we hope will be an annual event than with our rivals to the north – Tennessee. Our matches with them are always highly contested and Huntsville is a fitting location for this 'Border Battle'.

"This will be a great opportunity for the soccer communities and Crimson Tide fans of northern Alabama to check out some SEC level women's soccer while hopefully supporting other levels of the game during the event as well."

The match features two NCAA Tournament teams as both the Tide and the Lady Volunteers reached the second round of the 2023 national tournament
Alabama is coming off a strong fall performance that saw the program secure a spot in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament while recording a 12-5-5 record
Tennessee fell in the first round of the conference tournament and concluded the season with a 9-7-4 record
The match against the Lady Vols is the third spring competition for the Crimson Tide and second consecutive against an SEC opponent
Alabama and Tennessee last met on the pitch in an exhibition match to open the 2023 schedule that resulted in a 2-2 draw
The two teams went head-to-head during the regular season in 2022 with Alabama picking up a 4-2 victory
