Gabby Gladieux, Luisa Blanco Combine for Five WCGA Regular Season All-America Honors

Gladieux picked up her first career All-America honor as Blanco’s four accolades bring her to 20 total All-America honors, breaking the program record of 18 set by Jeana Rice from 2001-04
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – A pair of Alabama gymnasts combined for five Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Regular Season All-America honors, the organization announced Thursday.
Luisa Blanco earned four accolades, picking up first-team honors in the all-around and on vault, along with second-team recognition on the uneven bars and the balance beam. Blanco has now totaled 20 honors for her career, breaking the program record of 18 set by Jeana Rice from 2001-04.
Gabby Gladieux earned her first career All-America honor on the floor exercise, picking up second-team recognition on the event.
In all, 81 Alabama gymnasts have combined to earn 390 All-America honors. This total includes championship All-America honors along with regular season All-America, which began in 2013.
Luisa Blanco
- Twenty-time All-American, with 13 regular-season honors and seven championship accolades in her career
- Broke the program record of 18 set by Jeana Rice from 2001-04
- Ranked No. 8 on both vault (9.925 NQS) and in the all-around (39.695 NQS), while also holding a top-three ranking within the Southeastern Conference on both events
- Recorded her first-career, perfect 10.0 on vault in her final collegiate home meet
- Ranked No. 15 and No. 16 in the nation on the uneven bars (9.945 NQS) and the balance beam (9.935 NQS), respectively, while also holding a top-six conference ranking on each apparatus
Gabby Gladieux
- Earned her first-career All-America accolade as a second-team member on the floor exercise
- Competed on floor in all but two meets, posting eight scores of a 9.9-or-higher
- Ranked No. 14 in the nation and No. 7 within the SEC on the floor exercise, closing out the regular season with a NQS of 9.950
