The Crimson Tide’s signee was recognized as the state’s top high school girls basketball player
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women's basketball signee Chloe Spreen has been named the 2024 Indiana Miss Basketball – a senior-only award given to the best high school girls basketball player in the state. Spreen is the first Bedford North Lawrence High School player to receive the award since 2019 and third overall in school history.

- The Bedford, Ind., native, is rated as a 4-star recruit by ProspectsNation.com
- Spreen recently was named to the Indiana All-Star Team
- As one of only two returners on the Bedford North Lawrence Stars team, the senior helped lead squad to a 20-5 record and its 13th-consecutive IHSAA Class 4A sectional title
- Spreen averaged 20.9 points per game and 6.9 rebounds per game during her senior year
- Earned 1,869 career points, which ranks as the second highest on the school's all-time scoring list
- For the Stars, Spreen finished with 633 rebounds, 259 assists, 200 steals and 62 blocks
