Head Coach Jay Seawell Comments
"After the Watersound Invitational, our guys did a good job regrouping and focusing on playing well this week. They have been positive and enthusiastic about this opportunity and getting to play on this course. I am proud of the way they responded. They've really had two good weeks of practice, and I'm a big believer of if you practice well, you're going to play well. And, I think they did just that so I am happy with the response following our first tournament.
"We gave ourselves a chance to win but we didn't do the little things that are needed to do in order to win a college golf tournament. Not just the little things on the final couple of holes, but really the little things that happen throughout the a tournament. Just needed to execute some things better here or there and that would have given us a chance to win. But overall, I am very pleased with the result and look forward to next week's Linger Longer."
