
Women’s Golf Wraps Up Day Two of the Moon Golf Invitational

Taylor Kehoe and Kaitlyn Schroeder leads Alabama tied for 36th position overall
MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Alabama women's golf team sits in 16th place after Monday's second round of play at the Moon Golf Invitational. The Crimson Tide ended the day with a 36-hole of 26-over par 602 (297-305).
Sophomore Taylor Kehoe and freshman Kaitlyn Schroeder lead the Tide after day two sitting tied for 36th with a 5-over par 149 with Sarah Edwards following closely behind tied for 54th with a score of 7-over par (74-77).
ROUND TWO HIGHLIGHTS
- The Crimson Tide posted the second lowest average score on Par 5s (5.00)
- Kehoe posted the lowest score (75) for Alabama in the second round of the tournament
- Sarah Edwards posted 14 pars on day two, currently sitting in a tie for 54th at 7-over par 151 (74-77)
- Elina Sinz recorded a pair of birdies in round two and sits in a tie for 78th with a score of 11-over par (76-79)
TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS
- All but one team in the 17-team field is ranked inside the top-50, according to Clippd, including 12 teams in the top-25 and four in the top-10
- No. 10 LSU and No. 15 Auburn leads the field at 3-under par
