The Harvey Glance Tide and Tigers Dual Meet against the Crimson Tide’s in-state rival will return to Birmingham in January
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama track and field program announced its 2024-25 indoor schedule Thursday. The slate features a pair of in-state meets, as well as regular-season competitions spanning from Albuquerque, N.M., to Boston.
The Crimson Tide will kick-start its indoor campaign in December with a visit to the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston, as a handful of distance runners look to carry over their successes from the recent cross country season onto the track.
Alabama will ring in the new year with a pair of meets in Birmingham starting with the Harvey Glance Tide and Tigers Dual Meet against in-state rival Auburn (Jan. 10) before returning to the Birmingham Crossplex the following week for the Samford Invitational (Jan. 17-18). The Tide will make its first out-of-state road trip of the 2025 calendar year, traveling to Clemson, S.C., for the Orange and Purple Invitational (Jan. 24-25). Alabama will close out the month of January in Albuquerque, N.M., at the New Mexico Team Open (Jan. 31-Feb. 1).
From there, UA will split up and travel to both Fayetteville, Ark., and Boston, competing simultaneously at the Tyson Invitational (Feb. 14-15) and the David Hemery Valentine Invitational (Feb. 14-15), respectively. The Tide returns to Arkansas the following weekend for a Last-Chance-To-Qualify meet (Feb. 21).
College Station, Texas, will play host for the 2025 SEC Indoor Championships (Feb. 27-March 1), with the NCAA Indoor Championships (March 14-15) taking place in Virginia Beach, Va.
