Sarah Ashlee Barker Named to John R. Wooden Award Top 50 Watch List

The national preseason list is comprised of 50 student-athletes, featuring 13 from the Southeastern Conference
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women's basketball guard Sarah Ashlee Barker has been named to the 2024-25 John R. Wooden Award Top 50 Preseason Watch List, the Los Angeles Athletic Club announced Thursday.
The graduate guard from Birmingham, Ala., is one of 13 players from the Southeastern Conference to be named to the preseason list.
In Alabama's opening game, Barker was the second-leading scorer (23) and rebounder (8). She also collected three steals and three assists and connected on a trio of three-pointers.
