Nezar Leads Alabama on Day Two of Georgia Tech Fall Invite

The Crimson Tide will close the Georgia Tech Fall Invite Sunday, as competition begins at 8 a.m. CT
ATLANTA – Damien Nezar paced the Alabama men's tennis team on the second day of competition at the Georgia Tech Fall Invite.
Nezar highlighted the day with a three-set victory over Yale's Eric Li. The UA newcomer captured the first set at 6-2, before falling 6-3 in round two. He would rally to take the third set at 6-2 to claim the win.
Andrii Zimnokh and Zach Foster also fought through three sets as Zimnokh fell 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 to Ole Miss' Isac Stromberg and Foster fell 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 to the Rebels' Loan Lester. The UA duo also competed in doubles, dropping a tiebreaker to Georgia Tech's Gabriele Brancatelli and Rohan Sachev, 8-7 (3).
