Goblins Victorious in Gymnastics’ Annual Ghosts and Goblins Intrasquad Meet

Fans got their first look at the 2025 squad Friday evening as the Goblins edged out the Ghosts
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Fans got their first glimpse at the 2025 Alabama gymnastics squad Friday afternoon with the Crimson Tide's annual Halloween-themed intrasquad. Competing in front of a packed-out Frances Smith Practice Facility at Coleman Coliseum, the Goblins edged out the Ghosts. After retaking the lead on the third rotation, the Goblins rolled through the floor exercise to secure the victory.
The annual event gave the Crimson Tide its first chance to compete in front of a crowd this season, while fans got their first look at Alabama's talented freshmen class and a preview of what the returners are working on for the upcoming year.
The Goblins were led by super senior Shania Adams, as Love Birt, Karis German, Lilly Hudson, Natalia Pawlak, Faye Rodio, Rachel Rybicki, Jamison Sears and Paityn Walker rounded out the squad.
Super senior Cameron Machado led the Ghosts, competing alongside Corinne Bunagan, Brooke Dennis, Ryan Fuller, Gabby Gladieux, Kylee Kvamme, Chloe LaCoursiere, Gabby Ladanyi and Jordyn Paradise.

"The goal going into this intrasquad meet is always to have fun and to showcase what we've been practicing up to this point. The energy from our fans helped us achieve that tonight. I thought our freshmen, specifically, did very well in their debut, competing several routines for the first time in a meet setting. Overall, I'm very pleased with how the team embraced our mindset of 'playing gymnastics' today. They stayed in the moment, performed well and delivered a fun, enjoyable night of gymnastics for our Tuscaloosa community."
