
Women’s Golf in 11th Through 36 Holes at the Mason Rudolph Championship

Sarah Edwards vaults 16 places up the leaderboard tied for the 18th position to lead the way for UA
FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Alabama finished the second round of action at the Mason Rudolph Championship Saturday in 11th place with a 36-hole score of 581 (295-286). The Tide's Sarah Edwards leads the way for the team in a tie for 18th overall entering the final round of play with a 36-hole total of 3-under par 141 (72-69).
The event will conclude with 18 holes Sunday on the par 72, 6,491-yard Vanderbilt Legends Club – North Course in Franklin, Tenn.
ROUND TWO HIGHLIGHTS
- Sarah Edwards leads the team in total birdies across the first two rounds (6) and tied for the second most pars across the tournament field (28)
- Elina Sinz is in a tie for 33rd position after carding a 36-hole score of 144 (72-72)
- Sinz and Edwards also lead UA in par 3 scoring (-1, 2.88)
- Taylor Kehoe, carding a 2-under 36-hole total of 145 (75-70), finishes the day tied for 42nd after moving 17 spots up the leaderboard
- Mattie Frick cards a 3-over 75 for round two, finishing the day tied for 64th overall with a 36-hole total of 151 (76-75)
- Harriet Lockley sits in a tie for 75th after carding a 36-hole total of 153 (77-76)
- Alabama leads the field in total pars across the first two rounds of play with 126 overall
THE FIELD
- Auburn (-20) continues to lead the 18-team field which contains seven teams ranked inside of the top-25
- Vanderbilt (-18) sits in second followed by Ole Miss (-15) in third
- North Carolina and LSU, both tied for 4th, sit at 11-under par and round out the top-five teams in the event
UP NEXT
- Alabama will begin teeing off in the final round of play Sunday morning at 8:14 a.m. CT on hole No. 10
- The Tide will be pared alongside Louisville and UCLA
