Alabama Places Five on 2022-23 CSC Academic All-District Softball Team

The five honorees advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America voting
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Five Alabama softball players were selected to the 2022-23 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District softball team, including Montana Fouts, Faith Hensley, Jenna Johnson, Ashley Prange and Ally Shipman.
The CoSIDA Academic All-District distinction is the third for Fouts and Shipman, second for Hensley and Johnson and the first for Prange. Shipman was previously honored twice at Tennessee and Hensley last season at Ball State.
The slate increases Alabama softball's all-time total to 65 accolades, including multiple honorees in each of the last eight seasons.
With their selection, the four advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America voting, with Division 1 winners to be announced June 6.
