Head Coach Kristy Curry Postgame Comments
"Just want to thank all the school systems, every teacher, every superintendent that supported the event today. There are so many little ones in the stands and some of them probably have never been to campus. Sometimes you only have one chance to make a first impression."
"I was so proud of our team today and felt that they really stepped up with their energy and effort. It was bigger than basketball to some degree and we're just thankful that our [marketing] department did a phenomenal job, our administration supporting us again, our campus supporting us again, and our local teachers and school systems for giving us the opportunity to play in this environment and giving these young people a chance to come to campus. I really loved our team's response in a loud environment and it was so much fun to see the energy in the building and they really inspired our team today. It's good to have a dominating win against a team that's going to win a lot of games in their league."
