Sugar Bowl Champions!
Heck of a performance by football to win our 17th Sugar Bowl game and finish with 11 wins for the 12th consecutive season. Kansas State started out strong to score the first 10 points of the game, however the Tide responded by putting up the next 35 en route to a 45-20 victory. Bryce Young was selected as the game's Most Valuable Player for his five-touchdown performance. He finished 15-for-21 for 321 yards, connecting with seven different receivers. We are extremely proud of and happy for our student-athletes, Coach Saban and his staff. What a great way to close out the 2022 season!
Three Juniors Declare for NFL Draft
After returning from New Orleans, Will Anderson, Jr., Jahmyr Gibbs and Bryce Young made their announcements declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft. We look forward to watching all three on Sundays and wish them the best as they prepare for the next level.
Big Week of Basketball in Tuscaloosa
Conference play continues at home this week for both our men's and women's basketball teams, beginning with the men on Tuesday, hosting Ole Miss at 8 p.m. CT. The women then welcome in Missouri for a 6 p.m. CT start on Thursday and the men close out the week with Kentucky in Coleman on Saturday at 12 p.m. CT. Tickets are on sale through the Alabama Ticket Office for the Ole Miss and Missouri games, both online or by calling 205-348-2262, and through StubHub for the Kentucky game.
Gymnastics Hosts Michigan State in Season Opener Friday
The start of the gymnastics season is nearly upon us as we get ready to get things started Friday at home against Michigan State at 6 p.m. Fans can purchase both season and single-meet tickets online or by calling the Alabama Ticket Office at 205-348-2262. Look forward to seeing a packed house Friday night for our team under first-year head coach Ashley Johnston!
