
Alabama Rowing Announces 2022-23 Racing Schedule

The Crimson Tide’s schedule features two home races on the Black Warrior River
The fall portion of the season opens at the Head of the Oklahoma Oct. 1-2. Later that month, the Crimson Tide will host the Head of the Black Warrior River on Saturday, Oct. 29 in Tuscaloosa against Clemson, Louisville and Miami.
Alabama will kick off its spring season at Clemson Feb. 25 before hosting its second home regatta on Saturday, March 4 against Eastern Michigan. The Tide continues at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational March 18-19 before a jam-packed month of April starting at Tennessee (April 1) before the Big Ten Invitational (April 7-8) and the Lake Wheeler Invitational (April 21-22).Â
 The Tide enters its fifth season under head coach Glenn Putyrae in 2022-23. The Tide is coming off its third-straight second place finish at the Big 12 Championships last year, medaling in every race including silver in the First and Second Varsity 4+.Â

- May 14 at Big 12 Championships – Austin, Texas.
- May 26-28 at NCAA Rowing Championships – Camden, NJ.
