Southeastern Conference Releases 2023 League Softball Schedule

The Crimson Tide’s home conference slate includes Arkansas, South Carolina, Auburn and LSU
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference released its 2023 league softball schedule Thursday, which pits Alabama against Arkansas, South Carolina, Auburn and LSU in Tuscaloosa along with road series at Tennessee, Missouri, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
The Crimson Tide opens SEC play against the defending league champion Arkansas in Tuscaloosa on March 17-19. A pair of road series follow, first at Tennessee (March 24-26) and then Missouri (March 31-April 2) before returning home to face South Carolina on April 6-8. A three-game series at Mississippi State opens the second half of the slate on April 13-15. Alabama then hosts in-state rival Auburn at Rhoads Stadium for the first time since 2017 on April 21-23. The final home weekend of the regular season matches the Tide up against LSU (April 28-30) before closing out the regular season at Ole Miss (May 5-7).
The 2023 SEC Softball Tournament will take place at Bogle Park in Fayetteville, Ark., May 9-13.
The non-conference portion of the Crimson Tide schedule will be announced at a later date. All game dates are subject to change, while game times and television assignments will be finalized closer to the start of the season.

- May 9-13 at SEC Tournament – Fayetteville, Ark.
Alabama returns 13 players from last year's squad, including All-America Montana Fouts and All-SEC honorees Ashley Prange, Ally Shipman and Bailey Dowling. The Tide also welcomes four freshmen and three transfers.
