
Alabama Women’s Basketball Holds First Practice of the 2022-23 Season

The Crimson Tide opens its 2022-23 season on Nov. 7 by hosting Alabama A&M
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's basketball team held its first official practice of the 2022-23 season Monday at Foster Auditorium.
Alabama returns seven players who contributed over 95 percent of the Crimson Tide's points from a year ago. Included in the mix are graduate students Megan Abrams, Hannah Barber, Brittany Davis and Jada Rice as well as senior JaMya Mingo-Young. In addition to a strong core of returners, UA rounds out its roster with six newcomers including five transfers.
UA kicks off its 49th season and 10th season under head coach Kristy Curry on Nov. 7 with Alabama A&M in Coleman Coliseum. The Crimson Tide will compete 13 nonconference games and 16 Southeastern Conference matchups. TV selections and tip times will be released at a later date.
Fans can purchase season tickets by visiting RollTide.com or by calling 205-348-BAMA (2262). Season ticket price includes admission to all 15 of the Crimson Tide's home games. Single game tickets go on sale Oct. 24.
