
No. 6 Alabama Soccer’s Felicia Knox Earns Trio of National Weekly Honors

Knox added honors from TopDrawerSoccer, College Soccer News and Soccer America to her SEC Offensive Player of the Week nod
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 6 Alabama soccer's Felicia Knox has continued to impress, earning weekly national honors from TopDrawerSoccer, College Soccer News and Soccer America. She is the first Crimson Tide player to earn multiple national honors in a single week since goalkeeper Justine Bernier earned nods from Soccer America and Soccer Buzz Magazine in 2007.
Knox led then-No. 11 Alabama Soccer to an upset win over then-No. 5 South Carolina and a commanding victory over Chattanooga. Knox scored the game-winning goal before adding an assist in UA's 2-0 victory against the fifth-ranked Gamecocks. She also earned an assist during the Tide's 6-0 victory against Chattanooga Sunday.

- Holds a NCAA-leading eight assists and has earned an assist in eight of the Tide's 10 games this season including the last five consecutive games
- Has scored two goals this season, both against top-10 programs in then-No. 6 BYU and No. 5 South Carolina
- Ranks second on the team in points with 12 from two goals and eight assists
- Holds a team-leading 25 shots on the year
- Tallied four shots against both South Carolina and Chattanooga, which included two shots on target, including a goal, against the Gamecocks
No. 6 Alabama
- Currently holds its highest ranking in program history, ranking sixth in the United Soccer Coaches latest poll
- Has won its last four matches and recorded its third consecutive shutout
- Has outscored its opponents 28-5 this season
- Extended its home winning streak to 12 games with its 6-0 victory over Chattanooga
- The Tide shutout its sixth-consecutive team at home, with the last goal from an opposing team in the Alabama Soccer Stadium coming from a 2-1 overtime win against Kentucky last season (Oct. 21)
- Defeated two top-10 opponents in a single season for the first time in program history
- The win against South Carolina also gave UA its third ranked win of the season, marking only the second time in program history that the team has topped three top-25 foes
