In her first race for the Crimson Tide, Hilda Olemomoi led the women with a second-place individual finish, crossing the line with a time of 16:30.02 over the 5-kilometer course.
Alabama Head Coach Dan Waters Said
"We had a very good morning out on the course. To come away with the men's and women's titles against a strong field is a good way for a lot of our veterans to get their season started and was another good step for our rookies. The men went out there and did what they needed to do, while the women battled hard to come out on top. This was good experience for us with the regional meet being held here in November."
