Five Alabama Players Selected for SEC Preseason Watch List

McKinley Crone, Felicia Knox, Reyna Reyes, Riley Mattingly Parker and Riley Tanner earned the preseason honor
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Five players from the Alabama soccer team were named to the Southeastern Conference preseason watch list, the league office announced Wednesday. Goalkeeper, McKinley Crone, forwards Riley Mattingly Parker and Riley Tanner, midfielder Felicia Knox, and midfielder and defender Reyna Reyes earned the preseason nod.
Reyes earned her third mention on the preseason watch list as Parker and Knox were named to the SEC Preseason Watch List for the second time.
On the Watch List
- Earned 2021 United Soccer Coaches All-Region First Team and First Team All-SEC honors
- Ranked second on the team in game-winning goals, scoring the go-ahead goal against Jacksonville State and then-No. 24 LSU
- Played and started in 20 games, missing two to compete with the Mexican National Team
- Recorded six shutouts during the year, ranking fourth all-time in shutouts for a single season
- Ranks ninth all-time in career saves (148) and tied for fifth all-time in career shutouts (11)
- Tallied 71 saves during the 2021 campaign
- Tied for first on the team in assists (3) and tied for third on the team in points (9) in 2021
- Recorded the game-winning goal in the second overtime period against Southern Miss
- Paced the team in shots, firing off 43 last season
- Missed the 2021 season due to an injury
- Earned Second Team All-SEC honors for the 2020-21 season
- Despite only playing nine games during the 2020-21 season, she recorded five points, two goals and one assist
- Led the team in game-winning goals with three
- Ranks six all-time in program history for single season game-winning goals
- Tied for first on the team in assists (3) and third on the team in goals (3) last year
