
Alabama Swimmers Set for USA Swimming National Championships

The summer national championships are in Irvine, Calif., July 26-30 with prelims and finals each day
IRVINE, Calif – The Alabama swimming and diving contingent slated to compete at this week's USA Swimming National Championships in Irvine, Calif., runs 14 strong, including Olympic and World Championship medalist Rhyan White.
The championships get underway Tuesday, July 26 and run through Saturday, July 30, with prelims starting each day at 9 a.m. PT and finals getting underway at 5 p.m. PT.
In addition to White, Crimson Tide All-America women Cora Dupree, Kensey McMahon, Morgan Scott, Kailyn Winter and Cat Wright along with Jocelyn Fisher are slated to compete. On the men's side of the roster, All-Americans Jonathan Berneburg, Charlie Hawke, Jake Marcum and Eric Stelmar along with Ben Hines, Mateo Miceli and Trey Sheils will step up on blocks for the Tide
The summer national championships are competed over a 50-meter course, like the Olympic Games and the World Championships which were held earlier this summer.
