Women's Basketball To Play in Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship

The Crimson Tide will compete against Utah on Nov. 21 and Wake Forest on Nov. 23 in Nassau, Bahamas
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –Alabama women's basketball is set to participate as one of eight teams in the 2022 Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship, the event announced Thursday. UA opens competition Monday, Nov. 21 against Utah before facing Wake Forest on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at the Baha Mar Convention Center in Nassau, Bahamas.
All eight games of the Pink Flamingo Championship will be broadcast on FloHoops.

- Virginia Tech vs. Kentucky
- Utah vs. Alabama
- Wake Forest vs. Missouri
- Dayton vs. Ole Miss
Wednesday, Nov. 23
- Alabama vs. Wake Forest
- Missouri vs. Virginia Tech
- Kentucky vs. Dayton
- Ole Miss vs. Utah
The Competition
- Alabama will compete in the second annual Baha Mar Hoops event which kicked off its inaugural year in 2021
- Dayton, Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss and Virginia Tech make up the remaining five teams in the field
- Alabama will face Utah for the third time in program history, with both teams holding a home victory in the series
- The game on Nov. 23 will be first ever meeting between the Tide and Demon Deacons
